OFFICIAL - Chance of Coral & LARS Growout CONTEST #2
Hello and welcome to the Chance of Coral and Los Angeles Reef Society, Grow-out Contest.
This is Contest#2
Thank you to Chance and Robert of A Chance of Coral for hosting this amazing contest. This is a contest of skill, luck, and most importantly SURVIVAL! A Chance of Coral has selected an SPS coral that we may finally want to keep when its all over. Above all else a Chance of coral will offer a $100 prize to the winner.
Thank you to all who are participating, supporting your local fish store and local Reef Club.
With such a variety of reefers, it is always fun to see how different tanks will try to raise the same exact coral. Please follow along, contestant or not to see how this unfolds.
Here are the rules for all. PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
1. Participants must introduce themselves by posting a picture of their tank and details of their equipment. The picture does not have to be a full tank shot but must include enough of a view to see what you are working with. It can be multiple photos. This must be in by November 1st
2. All participants must pick up their coral by October 26th or contact the store to arrange pick up.
3. You must submit your first contest photo by November 1st. no exceptions. This will be your "DAY ONE" photo that will be used at the end of the contest. This picture must be a picture of the frag INSIDE of the tank. Please choose your location wisely as well as the angle of your photo so that you can continue to take pictures for the next 6 months.
4. You may submit one or two photos as your "DAY ONE" photo. do not submit more than two. At the end of the contest only one will be chosen (by you). If you submit ONE picture, you will only get to post ONE picture at the end. if you submit two pictures, IE:TOP and SIDE, you will get to submit one picture TOP or SIDE at the end to match the original. All participants will have only photo at the end.

5. Every month you will have from the 15th to the end of the month to submit one photo. Failure to submit a picture will face elimination. Please only submit one picture.
6. Contest will end May 1st, 2015. April's submission will be the last entry. You may hold out as long as you want in April but must submit final photo(s) by May 1st.
Here is the final and locked Participant list for this Contest. If you have decided to Bow out of this competition please let us know so that we may fill your spot if someone else wants to join.
