I checked out my tank today around 2+am with a flash light to see what's been munching on my acan colony chalice looking acan. To see this long brown stretched out tube worm looking thing munching away it's very thin it comes out of a small hole on the rock any one know what the F this is and what I can do to kill this thing since it gave me the right for killing my coral. It stretches over 3" to get to the coral and retracts quickly once there is light.

Look exactly like this predator

I had one... Pulled out the rock and poured straight Revive over the hole where the worm was... He shot out like a bullet into the bowl underneath and died...

Big bummer reefsUP... it stinks when you have to pull your tank apart...but it might be your best option... get it over with and just do it...you'll be happy you did once it's all back together (until another worm pops out ;0)

Epoxy I was thinking that my self would that work since I see he just retracts
Or what if I use a Turkey Baster to syphon it out then cut him if it doesn't fully come out or is there a possibility of contamination ? Any info willhe

use the baster to hit that spot with boiling water. cook him! turn off power heads so you dont blow hot water into near by coral.

Cutting him won't help. It's a segmented worm, so if you cut him into 3 pieces, each one becomes a new worm. You might try one of those bristleworm traps right in front of his hole...
