Going back to my original question, why do you feel you need, or want crystal clear water
I love the way so of the aquarium look nice and clear. Mine doesn’t look bad but I stare at my tank and it bugs me to see that little derby. I clean my glass at least 2-3 times a day. That’s just me sir.

I ask because it is important to understand what chemically happens when you pursue things. Every action will Have a reaction (typically multiple), good to know why you are doing something and what will happen after.

Tanks looks good. Do you scrape the glass with? I find the seachem blade scraper takes off a slight film that my flipper leaves behind. What micron filter sock do
You run? How old is the uv what model? What is the flow rate

I notice a big difference when I need to clean the quarts sleeve on my uv

You’ve got sand and fish pooping so there will always be something in the tank being kicked up and in the water column.
If you really want clear display water you’ll need to add something to the display itself like a “power filter”. Google Andre Mueller power filter.

im considering trying a diy coral snow with calcium carbonate a buddy pointed me towards. You can dose that nightly. It will cloud water for a bit but small particles stick to it and are then large enough to be removed by your mechanical filtration.

you tank looks good to me and if you’re using a small micron sock and able to go 2 weeks your water is much cleaner than mine. I throw a sock in occasionally and it clogs in a few days.
