You're the only one scamming here and trying to paint a picture of your innocent character but the text don't lie of what kind of person you are and many have dealt with me with no issues you're the worst buyer I've dealt with by far so I hope sellers sees this and think twice selling stuff to you ...try buying on Craigslist next time bud

And by the way I'd offered to refund you back your money by simply coming down to my house and drop off the mp10 and that still stands all you have to do is give me back the mp10 and I'll refund you the money

I don't think he's all there some screws are lose....I'd told him I would drive to his house the same night he'd text me to pick it up and refund him the money as he was complaining about driving and accusing me of selling something knowingly it was faulty when I'd tested it in front of him...and then he was like I'd called echotech and they'll send me a new wet side just pay me shipping both ways and I was like sure send me the invoice and I'll pay you....maybe he was hoping I pay the shipping without the invoices

I drove in traffic to pick up a broken mp10 and now I have to drive back to return it. Sounds reasonable right?

Anyone else care to chime in? If anyone is reading this...

How is it his fault where YOUR coming from or how long it took YOU to get there? I don’t know of any place I buy something from and don’t have to drive back to return it other than Amazon.... this isn’t Amazon. Plus just so you know cuz I don’t think you do, MOST people will not offer a return on used items and those that do you shouldn’t bad mouth, bad Karma.

I'd even offered to drive to his house that same day he was complaining about it

My main question are:
WHY DID HIS ATTITUDE CHANGE TWO WEEKS LATER?

WHY DID HE TEST IT ON A ROUND 5G BUCKET WHEN HE A TEN GALLON IN THE ROOM OVER?

Everyone can just sleep on that.

$@!!! Happens some times, if the man was offering you a refund why did you not take it? It seems pretty shady to be posting negative things about the seller when he tried to make things right.

I actually posted this after he blocked my number. I didn’t take him up on his first offer because I got it for a good deal and didn’t want to waste either of our time. Now his offer is back on the table but honestly why would I want to deal with him.
Like you said shit happens and it’s time to move on. I’ve decided to keep the pump.

Moderators delete the thread please.

So I buy tons of stuff for my tank used. Some would go so far as to call me cheap. When buying anything second hand you are taking a risk. Sometimes you get a sweet deal. Sometimes not. Seems to me he is being more than reasonable offering you a refund. You may have to drive over there to get it, but I think that is more than fair. I understand you being upset, but he is trying to make it right. If this same thing happened on Craigslist the person who sold it could just tell you to bad, you saw it you bought it. On a side note. I don’t really don’t like MP10’s. They make noise and they are kind of an eye sore sticking to the side of the tank. Just my opinion. Hope everything works out for you guys. Happy reefing

Just get a jebao RW4 cost like $50 on eBay. You can sell the mp10 for what you payed on eBay, just don’t guarantee the pump and make it final sale. You can probably start it as an auction and get more for it? I bought a new mp40 once, noisy as shit and expensive, never again. My Last RW4 lasted 2 1/2 years. Good luck.

We need a detective here lol
Somebody is perhaps a really big liar?

Maybe the seller let the pump sit around and that's what happened to it but he didn't realize?
or
The buyer swap it out for a bad one? wow
or
The seller sold a rusty piece of junk? That would be pretty bold thing to do.

Why would anyone buy something that Rusty and why would a seller sell something that Rusty and if you look at the two pumps I'd posted the condition of the two pumps is nowhere where near the condition that he'd posted up this buyer is a scammer like the one I'd experienced earlier with a buyer trying to buy my fish at a discount while he rips another buyer off by selling the fish that he did not pick up or pay yet at a higher price..... sellers beware of who you sell to this guy should be on your do not sell to list

Did both the buyer seller open the pump up like the rusty picture at the time of purchase?

Suvuong7 post your picture right next to his rusty picture for comparison.

Can’t we all just get a long? Maybe ignorance on Su part not knowing of what had happened perhaps the price reflects what needs to be replaced? Like any used item there is no fair way to demise if the part actually work it’s like gambling. For a few bucks honestly not worth the effort to bring this up. Perhaps trying to contact the manufacturer and just pay the shipping on a used item. If it was new I would expect it to be perfect. I don’t think this item is new? Just my 2 cents
