However this guy has many opportunities to return the item for a refund the first offer was me picking it up from him and refund his money ...he'd said it's cool...second he wants me to pay shipping costs fine...3rd attempt told him to bring the item and I'll refund ...I told him it still stand I'll refund him it's freaking $100 I don't really care about the money but seems like this guy has a different agenda

It would be difficult to tell if the wet side was rusted if it was never taken apart. Rusted wet sides are a known issue with those pumps, especially on the used market.

Scammers don't usually offer buyers their money back, so there is that.

I'm just looking from the outside in, he did offer you your money back. I'm failing to see the scam in this. I would be skeptical if someone didn't contact me right away about a problem, or said they would handle it through the manufacturer if that was an option, then later changed their mind and wanted a full refund. Texts and emails can be misconstrued if not worded properly. I thought you said Ecotech is sending you a new wetside and that you just need to pay shipping? You said it yourself, $100 was a great deal and normally used ones go for $150. I doubt that Ecotech is charging you anywhere close to $50 for shipping.

It does suck as a buyer when all you wanted was a working item and you drove all that way.

If you look back at my text I was really nice to this guy even in the beginning when he'd accused me of knowingly selling him a bad item until he'd started using profanity...I only treat people the way they deserve to be treated and this guy doesnt deserve to be treated with any respect as he has none for himself he's a little child that cries wolf when there's no wolf around

I'll be the better man here for you as it seems like you're losing sleep over this mail me back the item text me the receipt cost for postage once I receive the item I will PayPal you your refund along with postage cost you have 1 week to do this otherwise am not doing anything else for you
