Have a tank setup you want to get rid of? I am a high school teacher and would like to set up
a tank in my classroom to teach students about corals and reefing . This would allow students an opportunity to understand the science behind reef ecosystems etc.

I use to run a program like this up in Oregon when I was President of the PNWMAS. We had tanks in several schools and helped the teachers to set them up and even with some classroom instruction.

If you are looking to do this I might be a good tool for you. I was able to set up several completely brand new tanks, paid for by donors, and got livestock at wholesale prices for teachers.

IME with the program taking unwanted reef gear turned into a huge headache. We ended up with hundreds of things that just didn't work. It made it hell for the teachers when things were breaking so often. If you are able to get new gear funded you can have tanks that are identical in everyway which is really needed for experiments and learning.
