I’m going to set up my waterbox 130 soon but need to buy salt water for the first time fill up. I have heard mixed review about the water from tongs. Anyone else know of a place close that sells good quality salt. Don’t want to take a bunch of trips

I agree with @Letsgotothezoo...you have probably heard this already but nothing good in this hobby happens fast. Might as well fill it yourself and know that your tank's foundation (water chemistry) is solid from the start. It will also help build the patience that you will need for the long haul. Good luck with whatever you decide to do.

I agreed. Mix it in the tank. Get it right the first time.
I would go with Brightwell Aquatics salt. I heard good things about them.

I have a couple of 44 Gallon Brute containers that I can let you borrow. Let me know bud...

If the tank is empty, just mix it in the tank. Make all the water, add the salt turn on the powerhead. Boom!

Do you have an RODI unit?

if you have doubts about your LFS's (I only get RODI water from them because i use my own salt). To ensure the water you get from any fish store is good, i would get a TDS meter and make sure the TDS is below 3. With an 130g i would say the easiest thing for you is to get a RODI unit because that will save you many trips and make sure your water is good too
