Hey guys, just out of curiosity, is this the permanent meeting place for LARS now? I'm excited because it's only 30 minutes away! But what has been the reaction from people who live at the heart of LA? Seems kinda far for them.

I hated it at first... Since the el monte spot was a quick drive from my house... But the drive to this place isn't as bad as I thought... It takes the same amount of time for me to get to LARS as it does to long beach for SCRK...

More reason to make the meets worth while, Ryan and I come the furthest, 40 miles one way. Pretty sure not many people would be willing to do that.

i would not say its the new permanent spot but the overall reaction was good. Most of our members are not in the san Gabriel valley but still showed up to the new location, so thank you to all of them.

The new location at Ocean Marine Sales is very spacious and has a room dedicated to our club. Its a great place to hang out while not standing in the cold. The meeting and the next will be here but After that we'll see.

Hey Jose, this meeting is not just for members. Yes, gifts are for 2015 members and the rest of the gifts will go towards new 2016 members in the member raffle. Anyone new who decides to sign up has a chance to get their money back in the member gift.

Anyone can attend and participate in the presentation, raffles, food and coral trading. Its not just for members, the meeting is for all reefers
