Hello guys, Im new to the hobby and I try to save a buck or two whenever I can. I currently have 250 watts compact set up on a 125 gal tank. I want halides but cant afford them right now. What are the pros and cons of using halogen bulbs other than the price? :dontknow: Can anybody help?

what's the difference MH and halogen big difference is parameter (color and efficiency) it will be yellow.
If you really want to save $$$$ go with T5 regular drive trust me its well worth investment less electrical consumption and less heat specially your in El Cajon i know i work there
