Hi my fellow reefers! I got this nice donut a few days ago from a shipment.. It puffs up nicely but only has this one part of the skeleton that now has algae on it. It is eating normally. Is there anything I need to do to make sure it grows over the algae? Or should i attempt to get rid of the algae? Any advice will be appreciated! Thank you !!!

I dont see the skeleton, looks healthy to me, cant tell from picture but it looks its expelling thats leftovers from from (zooxanthellae). Google it, there is a thread about that in R2R, i feed mine only once a week just before a water change and that is just enough.

Especially it it was shipped just give it time. I would not try to clean it or shake it/etc. Regular feeding with pellets or chili/roids and aminos will probably clear it up. Looks very healthy tho
