Man this really sucks and is a scary reality that we all need to be wary of. Most of us are aware of the potential danger that Z's and P's pose but we often become complacent and things like this remind us. I am so sorry this happened to you, Esteban, but I truly hope we will all use this as a reminder and lesson learned.
Glad to hear you're doing better.

Yeah man. Glad its better bro. Try not to get stressed out while you're healing either cuz it could lead to CSR. Google it that's not fun to have either.

Glad to see it looking a bit better though

Went to the Optomologist yesterday and according to an eye chart I have 20/20 vision in the affected eye.

Weird thing is I don't see crisp or with out distortion and blurriness around what I focus on. He says it may be the medicine because the eye is not smooth and has tough patches and may go away with time.

He says that it's a miracle that I recovered this well. He claims 99% recovery. Also states that I have scarring inside my cornea and possibly with steroids It may reduce the actual scars size.

Still gonna be on antibiotic drops for approximately 1-2 weeks. Then I start the steroid drops.

So clean living for another few weekends, no booze.

This has been a crazy experience and hope others will follow suit and cover them eye balls with nifty eye wear while fragging or working on coral.

You need insurance player
Health insurance or fish tank? $hit always goes down when you cancel it. I had insurance for 9 years straight until last year and never really used it. I was paying 775$ a month for my family and I. That was over 8k a year. Had to trim man.

I would like to find a coverage that doesn't break the bank. Paying medical insurance on your own is expensive.

Lost all but three of my fish to ick....followed in your former footsteps and took the dirty route:a33:. Actually it probably was 100% my fault for not being patient and adding too many fish at once. I salvaged the remainder by setting up a QT and treating with copper. I was thinking of going fish only but added some corals as I seem to have better luck with them.

I think anytime you add too many fish to an established tank it adds a lot of stress. Also take in account that when you move a fish especially with nets you lift scales and damage them and basically open their defense and a way in for fungal diseases and ich to take over.

It's like adding a couple dudes and ladies to your home. Things will definitely be stressed. Luckily I'm stocked. But you know how it is, I am waiting for two fishes that are coming from clean tanks.

Everytime I add a fish there is a small ich outbreak. I'm sure if I changed the rock work or added a big enough rock work it would be the same. but with a lot of food a garlic everyone is fat and happy. It can also help to do things when the lights are out.

I hear people adding garlic to the fish food. I also had an Ich breakout and wanted to know the garlic brand that had worked.
