Hey guys and gals, happy Friday to you all.
I'm dosing a lot of B-Ionc, the curse has been lifted, the tank is doing good and I'm retired.
I ran a 2 stage Geo Reactor back in late 1999s to the early 2000s and then a reverse flow (I think it's a Hawk reactor made by Larry) reactor back around 2005+.

I'd like to hear from those that have experience with them and what manufacturer and models you recommend. This will be for a 120gal SPS..

Thank you
golfish

I bought a Geo recently and I regret it. Sucks because my first carx was a Geo and I loved it. The Sicce pumps they use now run hot and heat up the reactor.

They do offer a dc pump alternative. I might give that a try.

I run the old style Geo 618. I bought it used 5-6 years ago and it’s been working well. I have nothing to compare it to.
I have an upgraded sicce on mine and it does get warm.

Not much new stuff , well there are the automated deltec and destaco, but otherwise very much same tech. I’d go with something simple and proven. Peristaltic pumps have become a lot cheaper and easier to use (versa or kaomer).

This past April I ordered the geo reactor CR612 with no extra or add ons. I also ordered with it the Milwaukee MA957 regulator. It took about 3 months to get it. I called a couple of times to get updates. The person I talked to was in the midst of glueing and took the time to look up my order and explained that he has yet to complete my order,it would be a month or so more before my reactor was built. He was to the point and willing to explain what was going on.
Using all new reactor and regulator has been flawless. Just have to be patient when ordering knowing it won't be here next week.
Oh, I did order the precision needle valve.
Also, I have had a Geo reactor before. I dropped it and broke some parts. The new one is setup different, much easier.

It's good to see that George is doing so well. Did you have to pay up front or just a deposit ?
