The best way to kick ick, is to through in two, or more cleaner shrimps, and start using garlic in there food! but if your just asking what kind of additive is the best I would say No ick marine, it is reef safe!

Notice! when a fish has ick it will look for a cleaner shrimp in a hurry! because he/she knows that if he/she doesn't find one quick, he/she will die, and that is why you need more that one cleaner shrimp, because a cleaner will eat untill he/she is full then he/she will stop eating (cleaning) but if you have more than one then you will have continuous cleaning!

This has worked for me everytime!

Oh I have had good experience with API MelaFix Marine (antibacterial fish and coral remedy)

I would get a uv sterilizer. It kills bacteria and also algae. I personally have dosed this bottle called "fishkeeper" and worked for me as I had a species only tank with only tangs, and when it breaks out it really breaks out. Like everyone said, turn up the heat, and good luck with everything.
