FYI, Current USA has generously donated an item to give away for our Christmas party!
EVERY person who attends will get a free raffle ticket. Kids, wives, etc (no pets, please).
I haven't received the item yet, however I do understand it is T5 lighting of some sort.
We will also be having a White Elephant gift exchange. This is an opportunity to find another home for that perfect gift that you really don't need or want but just have not had the heart to throw away... These exchanges can be a lot of fun!
Also, we're working on the menu, and at this point, it looks like we will get some Mexican food for the party... A large burrito, rice, beans, chips, salsa, etc... Our other option (Italian) was looking to be a bit more convoluted, and this seemed like a good way to feed everyone without everyone knocking themselves out.
Also, for Dessert, I understand we will have homemade Flan, and I myself will be bringing a chocolate treat of some kind (warning: my chocolate treats are pretty chocolaty... A little goes a LONG way. Just looking at it you'll feel like you put on 5 pounds...).
My wife will also be working on age-appropriate crafts, as well, so please, bring the kids!
Again, the RSVP deadline will be December 1st. If you plan (or even HOPE!) to attend, PLEASE RSVP so we can accommodate you!
