IM NUVO 20 Build

I love anemones but they never worked out in my tanks since they always moved. |

So through a good deal I got in here I got a nuvo 20 setting this up as a nem only tank.

Equipment: AI prime 16HD (diffuser coming soon), Eheim Jagar 100w, Jebao SLW 5, IM spin stream, and might add a skimmer?

Rocks I am using Pukani (I hope it is) and Caribsea moon light sand.

Tank is almost done cycling so life will be coming soon!

looks like a nice start. i’m trying to do a LTA in my tank now but it’s not happy. keeps moving and closing up. probably needs less flow.

Well, I got a IM 20 P which I turned into a anem tank last night. Problem is my light won't be here until Monday..........so I guess it'll have to live without it for 2 days. Wish I got the regular 20G instead, since it's weird layout in my garage.

Can anybody verify whether this is dinoflagellates or no?

I started the cycle last Monday with Brightwell quick cycle followed by a dose of microbacter start xlm.
I dosed it for 2 more days cause the bottle was almost empty, but apparently you only need to dose once and I wasn't sure since the bottle didn't specify (Im used to seachem stability where you dose daily for a week.)

Now my sand bed and rocks are brown but the sand bed has air bubbles and when I stir it up a ton of bubbles came up, I left it for a couple hours and stirred again and there was ton of bubbles again.
Can anyone confirm if this is dinos?

No, normal for Diatom. Unless you see long string with bubble, it's not dino. Once these pass, you will start see green algae popping up. If you can dose Fritz 9, try that. It's been working on my tank.

Here is an update, tank is going through the ugly phase at the moment.

I added a few bubble tips, Christmas worm rock, and red ogo.

Live stock mostly consist of sexy shrimps(12), hermits, anemone, and a black ice clown.
