Innovative Marine 170EXT or 60"x30"x22" tank

I have a possible window opening to do a tank upgrade. I've been looking at the Innovative Marine EXT tanks. I know it's a long shot, but if anyone has an Innovative Marine 170 for sale, let me know. I'm open to other tank options, but the dimensions need to be 60"x30"x21-24" high. If you have a tank or any leads, drop me a DM.

Just looked and Brs sells them for like 8k. You could go custom for that once and those dimensions and still be under. Richard can get you a quote for sure.

Innovative Marine makes the tanks to order so the lead time is 4-6 months. The cost for stand and tank is $4200 shipped to the door. I'm not a fan of the stand but there is no tank only option.

Brs had it listed for 8k, not in stock but yeah. Odd. I’d go with Richard’s guy. PVC bottom,… for same or better price than glass cages. @wishntoboutside

I really like the IM ext tanks and would love to get the 150ext, I really love the wide shallow footprint. I helped a friend set up a few IM tanks (200 & 240) and my only gripe is with the stands. Once they're constructed, they're pretty solid, but every connector has to be perfectly square in order to "hold on" to the frame, which can be very difficult. They're also kinda tall for my liking, especially adding the level feet platform. I still want the 150ext, but I will just repurpose the stand for a frag system and build a custom 8020 stand (which I recommend for these and other large tanks).
But I agree, the PVC bottoms are great!

Completely agree re: IM stands. Quite serviceable once constructed properly, but can be a real pain to get perfectly aligned.
