Ok guys, I hate to say this but I think the 'jebao pump thief' has hit again. About 2-3 weeks ago I got a call from someone claiming to be one of the last 2 people that needed to pick up their pumps so I gave them my address and they came right away to pick up.

I only had 2 people who hadnt picked up so I didnt think much of it until today when I got a PM from of the one of the two people that still had to pick up asking about his wp40 pumps.

It seems like someone saw that there was still pending pumps and decided to come pose as the person on the list to pick them up! Im so bummed now about this. Now im out 2 wp40s! And what really sucks about this was that I never saved the persons phone number who called me and now I cant find it.

go on line and check the numbers you called or ask the carrier to give you the numbers that call you

was it a gold 4 runner?

really guys 2 wp40 pumps that like 150$ if you going to steal something make it worth while. 150$

I though the other pump was found or return and it sucks you lost 2 wp40`s but why are pumps being handed out with out checking for anything?

I have access to the number list from my online cell phone account but the problem is that I dont remember what day it was and I have quite a few numbers that I dont remember. I will try calling some back but I honestly dont know what that will accomplish if the person denies it was them. I dont know if the police would do anything about it either.

I didnt see the car they were in since they parked on the street and walked in. (I live in an apartment complex so I can see the street from my garage)

From what I know the lost wp25 that Kevin had was either returned to him or someone sent him a replacement.

I didnt think about asking for an ID since all other pumps were handed to the correct person. I guess it was my mistake for trusting them.

i hope the pumps are return and we can learn from this for future group buys, i won't mind being asked for my ID and screen name to confirm i am who i say i am and what im there to pick up.

Yeah next time I meet with anyone im going to ask for a PM from their account with their phone number in the message that way I know that the person texting/calling me is the same person I was talking to online. Oh well, $130 lesson learned

this seriously disheartens me to witness and/or worse, experience situations like this. You truly WANT to do good, but then there are human predators who literally feed on the percieved weakness of others. Somebody did in fact return a pump to me during the last episode, but I have no way of knowing whether it was somebody who's conscience got the best of them or a good simaritan. In either case it restored a little faith in this mans soul, LOL

To be perfectly honest, I refuse to let the actions of a few dictate my behavior to the many.....some may consider that a bit naive, but that is simply how i choose to live life.

I still have one more person waiting to pick up their pump, but I will surely make sure and check their ID as a matter of responsibility, if nothing else

Thanks but I think ill just take the loss on this since it was my mistake for not making sure it was the correct person.

And yeah I believe there is a GB going on right now.

I'm sorry to hear about the pumps Juan.. That is scary reef karma comin back to someone :( Hope it gets handled, and you get them returned "anonymously" or if not, Im down for that "$5 holla" to get you compensated, I wasn't in this GB , but have been on your past ones, and appreciate the effort it takes you to do for all of us! :)
