Well, while I’m in the spa drinking a cold IPA from a frosty mug, I might as well get my tanks under one thread. I currently have 3 official tanks running, one being my son’s 50g lagoon and his desktop jar, the other two are my main display, which is a custom built 90g and a nano system consisting of an IM 25g ext and a 10g that share a sump.
I’ll try to slip in details of all three systems as I go, but will post some random pics, not necessarily in chronological order, for posterity.

Nice - looking good! Glad you got a build thread going. It’s hard to keep track of multiple tanks so best to get organized.

Stand: I kept thinking to myself that my next tank will be 8020 yet here I am - still got wooden stands! lol

Yes, I need to plant my big purple stag and green humilis yet, but hopefully that will happen today. First, I have to remove this big ugly temp tank out of my house and then I'll have some more room to work with.
As a side note, a big shout out and thank you to @gveng for lending me the mega temp tank.
Dan, I might be putting in the first clam soon. I might grab one of the squamosina clams that Elliot (Golden State Corals) got in a while ago? He has four of them and two squamosas. He also has some nice blue croceas. But I need to set up a permanent 10g QT for clams first. Speaking of clams, how are all of yours doing?

Ooh do it, i havent seen the squamosinas there since its been a hectic stretch but those are such cool clams. Pack it to the gills with clams! That's such a great size and height for clams.

All except one of the clams are doing well. The 3 in the main tank (big derasa and two maximas) are doing good, had to move one of the maximas from encroachment and its a little cranky. It detached its byssal threads and hasnt put them down yet but is opening better post not being trapped and still growing so not too concerned.

pico tank clams are doing well enough, except the hippopus sadly. there was some blip, unknown what, parameters seemed fine as far as I could measure, but a random very soft hair algae bloomed, the maxi-mini took a walk and landed in the intake pump. Growth on derasa halted a bit but its been back growing last ~3 months, maxima is doing good, crocea is possibly a little underlighted in behavior but technically >300 par but still growing so not too worried. But the hippopus is receding a bit into the shell, not too far but maybe 1/8" which is too much for me. still opening and closing, i checked for pyramids a week ago since it had one originally. But didn't see any, and all the other clams are happy and growing again post whatever parameter swing happened. I'm worried the hippo isn't long for this world, but will try to keep things steady and hope it pulls through.

Edit: if you need any testers for QT let me know :) Pico's fishless, main tank has fish but the weird turf-y algae you'd probably want to deal with in a QT

Hopefully the hippo pulls through, it's always tough to get them back once they stall, but it can be done. Glad the rest are doing well. I'm going to give the tank another week before I decide to throw a clam in there. I still need to put the huge stag in, so my guess is it's going to change a few parameters once it goes in. Btw, I've stopped growing phyto for a while now, I was too busy doing other things and simply didn't have the time. But now things have settled down, I'm probably going to get started again. I think I'm just going to grow Tet and keep it there. I thought about trying iso, but it looks like Tet is the best all-around to feed, especially for acropora. I'll have to make a trip soon to check out your tanks and hopefully see @Tangwich tank(s) too.

Temp tank coming down……

And another started to clear up some pest algae and aiptasia. Plus, I didn’t have time to remove the stag and the humilis yet.

Today’s results, not too shabby. (90g)

Alk (8.9dkh) is a little high considering, but I’ll take it. PO4 (roughly 0.07ppm)
I didn’t have time to move the stag and humilis yet, but I’m going to try tomorrow. Then alk will probably drop down a little.
