Hello everyone!

The next LARS meeting will be Friday August 12th at 7pm.

At:
IHOP
3506 Rosemead Blvd
Rosemead CA 91770

Topic: Using different test kits. How to use and which are better.

This Month we will be discussing how to use test kits, which test kits and why. Testing is likely the most important tool to reef hobbyists. Trying to figure out the correct ways to use them is such a bother. Whenever you ask someone, its a different kit all together. We will be discussing and demonstrating how to use different test kits. why they are important and the various readings each provide. Such a hot topic that has not been discussed. The club is designed to sort out these kinds of issue to minimize false readings and adjusting your tank incorrectly.

Come on out and meet fellow reefers who are usually selling Zoas, SPS or other types of coral. Local clubs are a great place to network. We all have problems with our tanks and talking to other reefers might give you some ideas to make your tank better. Everyone is welcome, bring whomever you would like to accompany you. No pressure to join LARS or participate.

We meet at an Ihop, just come on in and look for the projector screen and frag tank. If you get there early just let the staff know you are there for the meeting and they will direct you.

Raffle prizes will include a frag cutting kit, salt, test kits, Rods frozen foods and more! Dont forget LARS members get a FREE raffle ticket to participate in an exclusive FREE members raffle that makes being a member totally worth it.

We will have our club Frag Tank set up for members to sell/trade coral. Members also get to borrow the clubs new Par Meter! Sign up at the meeting.

We will also be discussing the free frags we gave out in july. Tell us about how yours has grown or died. We all kill corals so lets try to solve why it died or lost color. It will be interesting to see so bring photo or a flash drive and we will put it up on the projector.

See you soon!
