I’ve always heard about torches sting… should I intervene? Or will my leather figure out that’s a bad place to rest it’s head lol.

IMO,
I’d move it since leathers seem to deflate the base occasionally which cause them to lean and I don’t think they are able to pick them selves up too quick. Plus stings can rapidly destroy the tissue of leathers. On the bright side, even though stings can hurt the leather in a short amount of time, when this happened to mine, it made a full recovery fairly quickly.

The leather will not be able to intelligently move itself away. I would intervene if you like the leather the size it is.
Thanks for the advice all. I moved it back up right last night after the first post. If it keeps leaning that way, I’ll move it all together.

Thanks!

Leathers excrete a chemical toxin then tells other corals to stay away. There are even studies that have proven that the toxin they admit can stunt the growth of near by corals. That is the leathers defense system chemical warfare.

Yea everything in my tank grows slow. I think it’s because I have 5 large leathers and 1 small one in a 32g. But honestly, it’s a 32g so I am way ok with slow growth ha.
