LF: sea lettuce (ulva)

Anybody got sea lettuce in OC? I’m ok with aiptasias— free snacks for the CBB. I’m trying to grow more macros in the refugium for my hungry tangs & angels.

If you are trying to grow, you don’t need much

I had a bunch, but they started growing on rocks and pipes in the refugium so I tried to get rid of them

I'll let you know If I can find some, but I think my other macro have outcompeted by now

My fish can eat faster than I can grow macroalgae! That’s why I figure ulva might be the way to go. Curious what do you guys feed your fish?

I wish I could get cheap macro for feeding. my foxface only eats nori or red ogo that @Tangerine Speedo hooked me up with. the red ogo worked out great during a recent 3-day trip because it lasts a couple days on the clip. too bad he's so far from me.

online you'll find macro selling like they're sps (not really, but almost). I need to start growing it in a refugium or if anyone grows a lot in their refugium and would be willing to sell for a good price, lmk. i'm interested in anything i could put on a clip that my foxface would eat.

I’ve been feeding mine Dragon’s Breath macros but things slowed down due to lower nutrients. I might need to increase Fe dosing to keep up. Anyway, I believe ulva grows faster and easier to digest?

Agreed on the online macroalgae sales - the price is ridiculous.
