Hey all!

My little 16 gallon bio cube is doing amazing! Does anyone know where I could find Macroalgae in LA? I've been wandering out to different shops and haven't spotted any yet. Any advice would be appreciated :)

Haven't been to shops much recently but I know a couple macro enthusiasts. I think you saw my softy/macro tank, any of the 4 main types in there you can have once I treat for red flatworms (or before if you don't mind treating yourself). Tangwich has/had a bunch too, also I got some of mine from somebody Long Beach / Orange so hopefully someone near you chimes in.

Macros in general seem to be a bit hard to find at a brick and mortar here in socal, and if you do its usually just chaeto and some kind of gracilaria.

If you are willing to go to orange county, Tongs in Fountain Valley usually has a small selection. Otherwise offerup, reefing forums classifieds, or just buying online might be the only way to go.

Would help to know where in LA. Haha. Plenty of macros in the area from local reefers, and most are pretty cool with sharing.

Tongs has a good selection, although prices went up on their selections same sample size.
still less then buying online and paying for shipping, relatively local and i go there once in a while. Had a good selection last time i saw.

online i did mosaicmacros, huge selection but dreaded shipping fee. But worth it, i got a lot of different macros in one shot, no need to go from one place to the next etc. Just their packaging could be better. They mix the macros in the bags, hard to tell what is what depending on the macros.

Anthony's red dragon - great big amount for good price.
