This one is called CC Flametip anemone. Picture was taken by Samsung GalaxyZFold4 under Radions G4 pro heavy UV, violet, and royal blues, front side view with an Orphek 15k orange gel filter, no photoshop.
I when I first started reefing, I had my tank up for about 2 years then decided to break it down to pursue my undergrad degree. During the tail end of my senior year, I stopped by Coral Gazers in Tustin one day, that's when I saw an Inferno for first time. I was like, "what the heck is that?!" I asked, and the owner Chad told me that is was an Inferno from Coral Collections. I stood there staring at it for almost an hour then decided to get back into reefing. I got a 8 gallon Cadlight all in one to get things started, then went to Reefapalooza to see if I can get an Inferno. As much as I tried to get there early, I ended up arriving 30 minutes before it closed on the 2nd day, the staff let me in for free lol. This was when RAP was located in Costa Mesa fairgrounds in 2014. When I arrived, some people was already starting to breakdown their booths so I began to walk quickly and there I saw Matt with Coral Collections. There must have been more than a dozen people surrounding his booth, he was busy answering a bunch questions and declining all the low ball offers. Everyone wanted the anemone but no one wanted to buy. So I decided to walk around really quick to see what else there was at the show. It must have been less than 10 minutes before I headed back to Matt's booth as I saw nothing I was interested in. That's when I saw Joseph C, the owner of Unique Corals, holding the rock filled with all the Infernos. As I was getting near, I saw Joseph with the rock in hand looking at the Infernos and then looked at Matt then gave Matt the nod and quickly ran off with the rock in hand dripping water all over the ground. I panicked as I no longer saw any Infernos in the tank, he took all of them. I was so stressed out lol, and started get mad at myself for walking around missing my opportunity to get my anemone. So I followed Joseph to his booth and asked nicely if I can get an Inferno. He looked at the rock and looked at me then did it again, and said no. This is when it really sank in and I began to get super stressed out haha. So I ask again but I was being more polite this time, he thought about it again and apologized for not being able to do it. I was going to ask one last time but decided not to bother him anymore and thanked him for his time. When I turned around to leave, Matt was right behind me and told me that he can get me one in a few months so we exchanged numbers. 6 months later, I got my Inferno and this beautiful Flametip.
