Mp40's and Sps

how close do you keep your sps in regards to the flow off the mp40? lets say half power mine is like 6 to 8 inches away and growing that would be stag type sps but the millepora more hairy polyp type coral doesn't like to be that close more like a foot away with swaying polyps ..what about your? any intel is appreciated and pictures are A valued asset.

here is my new mille mid tank need to get a full tank shot this is one week old better polyp extension now going on week 3..

none are in the direct line of flow, but many are 2 inches away, but 2 inches down or behind or above the cone of maximum turbulance. IME SPS can take a lot of flow as long as its pulsitile/non-constant. Acropora millipora especially like high flow & high light.
