Let us know how it goes. Gotta get past the 1 year mark, and it'll settle down.
Maybe this will help you are someone else,
I have built 3 wooden stands basically following these steps.
Nah, just do it yourself, my first stand was so bad I just cut it up and tossed it, I studied the DIY plans for a long time, the plans used to show everything in different colors so you start to think how it exactly will work, have you installed the bottom shelf on your stand yet? The ply wood if screwed into the 2 x 4 should give a lot of rigdity, because the store bought stands do not have any 2 x 4 in them just plywood. Just think of the concept the weight goes to the floor, the side supports keep it from swaying back in forth, You are fine until you are not, and then seek some friendly assistance.Thanks. For future reference, if I decide to redo the stand. I hired someone else to build me one.

What were you fighting? I had a lot of issues when I started my tank, and it took awhile to sort it out. Mine didn't settle down until maybe 18 months in.
Next time, if you tried everything and don't mind chemicals, add chemiclean (cyano) and 4x fluconazole (GHA/bubble).Algae. Algae everywhere.
Cyano. GHA. Bubble. It started a little over a year after I setup the tank (first issues I saw end of July 2025). Some water changes and new filters slowly fixed it, then it came back with a vengeance around September. From that point to January nothing worked.
January this year I just kept the ATO topped off and that’s it. Middle of March is when I decided to reboot my system.
