Welcome to the Coral Obsessions 2014 grow-out competition!!
There will be 25 participants which are listed below. Coral Obsessions will be donating $100 to the winner of the challenge which will end September 1st. The winner will be selected by the people of Premier Reef in an open voting thread. It will be a judgment of the best color and growth formation.
Pre-qualifications:
1.Post a pic of your tank & a single coral on this thread. This verifies you are able to take decent pics for the contest!
2. Give us a Brief overview of your setup. This will show the many different variables people are using to win.
-Lighting
-Filtration
-Gallons
-Feeding habits + Livestock
-What you dose
Rules:
1. you must take a picture within 3 days of picking up your coral. it should include a ruler to show the size.
2. you must post a picture once a month of your piece until the competition ends. this ensures we are looking at the same piece and progress.
3. Upon competition completion, you must post a picture of your coral within one week of the end date. otherwise you will be left out.
You must comply with the rules or be disqualified.
The buy-in will be $5 per participant. Only one frag per person!
Frags should be picked up no earlier than Thursday Feb 20th to ensure that it survived the initial cut of the colony.
