Orange Jawbreaker missing

Help!! I had a little baby frag of an orange jawbreaker mushroom, and it disappeared after my husband was rearranging the live rocks in our tank. We have looked around for it but haven't been able to find it. I heard that these guys can move around so we didn't glue it down -- is there hope for it being able to crawl to a happy spot or should we count it as a goner? Thank you!!

I would check under the live rock, or maybe start by slowly sifting the sand around.

I stopped keeping jawbreakers unless they are in "mushroom boxes". They will detach and float away... happens a lot. If it wasn't on a disc or piece of rock... just loose... chances are its going to blow somewhere into the rocks to be never found again.
