How often are you peeps replacing Ph probes?

I believe if it can calibrate and holds calibration it’s fine.
pH probes are reliable for about a year, after that I wouldn’t trust them. But, check with calibration solutions and see what they say. Calibrate if they’re off, if they’re close then keep’em going. I tend to use them for trends and replace after they don’t keep calibration. Your mileage will vary.

I just keep tabs on my probes using an Apera PH wand. If the probe starts to stray from the reading on the wand I will first check for any debris build up. If they are still not reading right I will check the calibration. At this point the only PH probes I have had any issues with are the clear blue pinpoint style probes that come with the Hydros and the Apex. I had one pinpoint that one day was reading 8.3 then dropped like turning off a light to 0, the other one (while I was out of town of course) just slowly over 4-5 days creaped up from its normal 8.1-8.3 to over 9. When I got home to recheck the one that went high I couldn't get it to calibrate. Niether of those held made it to a year.
I now have 4 Milwuakee MA911 sensors running in 3 different tanks and they all seem pretty bullet proof. The oldest one is almost 3 years and I'm not seeing much issue. IME The MA911's are pretty much set it and forget it, they always read pretty dead on with my hand tester.
