thanks everybody...

patrick,I used a fiberglass mat embedded in fiberglass epoxy like is used to build wooden boats and sweetwater epoxy paint over top of that,to coat the wood with, the sweetwater paint is used in aquaculture and residential water holding tanks,so it's reef safe

I also used a waterproof polyurethane based construction adhesive to glue up all the seams as well as 2" screws every 2" apart, drilled and countersunk, then I used bondo auto body filler to fill in the screw holes and any imperfections, such as knot holes,in the wood...with the euro style top and cross bracing,it make for a very strong tank

again, thanks for all the comments and for looking guys,I'm very proud of my tank..now if I can get the inside to look as good as Kats nano or ramzy tank,I'll be happy :D

I got the MP60 rocking the tank now, that thing is awesome...I had a 1" wave started before I chickened out and changed settings,I'm afraid my tank couldn't handle that much stress....

the MP60 instructions say to contact the tank builder to see it it can handle it,problem is,I'm the builder and I don't know

I noticed my mandarins doing their mating dance yesterday evening and I hadn't even noticed that they'd paired up yet,we may have babies later....of course, the babies probable wont make it in my tank but its still cool to watch and a good sign that they're healthy and happy :D
