Hey guys. I bought a banded cat shark egg a couple months ago and it hatched two nights ago.. I haven't seen it since and I realise that they're nocturnal but I haven't seen him tonight (last night I knocked out early.) and I'm planning on setting a few alarms to see if he's out at all. I have some freshwater ghost shrimp to feed him but I'm worried that he's going to starve if he doesn't come out soon. Should I be concerned? If anyone has experience with hatchlings and advice would be appreciated.
Thanks

Also, if anyone breeds/sells saltwater feeder shrimp please hmu because i'd rather have some hanging out in the tank with the hopes that the shark will find them rather than throwing in some fw ghosts for them to die within a few minutes.

ghost shrimp might be too big for a hatchling. We usually used tongs to hand feed them frozen mysis shrimp (one mysis shrimp at a time) or very small pieces of krill or silverside. like smaller then a pea small. it would normally take a few tries to get them to go for it so patience is needed.
