Really bummed on that scopas, I witnessed him eating byropsis strands in the tank. I'm thinking he got hit by an aiptasia hidden in the bryopsis and it got infected or possibly just struck something. Maybe took a nibble on the tiny gigantea, not sure but he was gorgeous and it's a bummer for sure.
That totally sucks! I’m trading my yellow tang for a scopus and tomini (he’s getting a little big). They (scopus) are completely underrated fish.

Couldnt agree more. When they start to get larger and under white light they are pretty dang awesome. Lots of subtle hues and the black rear half almost looks like it has fine hair on it, like the centaur of tangs

Darn, I wish i would have known you had one ready when I picked up that doomsday, I’m not in garden grove often. Pm me a price and i will message you next time i am out there for work.
My bad, I should have sent you a list. Treat it like a pack with doomsday and hook it up.

It's been over a month but the starfish population is dropping enough for these two to move from their spot and hunt. This is actually the first time I've seen them separate since introducing them to the tank. Got pretty lucky just picked two randoms at the LFS and they paired right up.

This is during my long pulse of the mp40 on that side of the tank, little dude is hanging on for dear life :) I feel my tank has responded really well to these long alternating pulses and overall everything seems much more natural than when I was running random before. The flow also reaches the front area of the tank so much better with the 1-2 minute long pulses.

This aussie table has given me a run for my money. Nice and stable but I got this as a small maricultured colony in at the beginning of 2019! Hard to get a picture of it but it has nice light blue hues to it.

Soon after I first brought it home in March of 2019. Was a nice ice blue base, maybe that'll come back.
