Yes totally.

but best to add both at the same time if possible. Or acclimation box for a while may work.

there may be some aggression but as long as they are not hurting each other it should be fine.

how big is your tank. is it possible to rearrange a few pieces of rock to break of the "territory" of any or your current tangs ?

Yep, tank size and variate of territory is one key. Also, keep in mind that every fish has it’s own temperament so it’s always a crapshoot.

I have PBT, 2X YT and 2X PT and they all get along like a bunch of homos in a bath house.


Wasn’t always that way, they nipped and flipped for about a month…. My wife would yell at them to get along behave and that seemed to work.



Over feeding, moving the rocks a bit and using a mirror were all a wast of time….. best practice is a menopausal woman yelling at the fish.


(At least she wasn’t yelling at me LOL)
