I've got worms for you! Need to split the culture soon, so let's figure out a time to get you a tub of them!

That's very generous of you Joe! Appreciate it.

Let me see how this torch does first before I get any more torches (tired of melting torches on me). Actually, I'm thinking if I can't save these, I'm going to just chill on torches/euphyllia in my tank for awhile and I can crank up the flow more to keep my SPS happy. I may already have too much flow for torches now. I may just go do more acans and chalices.

Awesome, let me and my son try worms. I know my wife will probably banish worms to the garage, so I'm a little worried since it does get hot in the summer. Hoping we can keep it going.

Just be sure to keep the chalices 6-8" from any other corals. When they get their sweepers going they will kill anything that is close.

can they be kept with other chalices? I just got a few frags so they're still small and don't see sweepers. I also tried checking at night.

To my knowledge once they are happy and established all chalices send out sweepers.

Chalices should be ok with other chalice though.

Darn, my chalice is growing so well for me. It is on one of the rock structures, but eventually, it'll be growing into all kinds of corals. And I can't remove the chalice because it is already encrusted well on the main rock. I have not seen any sweepers yet.

While some specific chalices are more aggressive than others once they start to sense encrochment they will send out sweepers more often. They also will sendbout sweepers if they sense food in the water similar to the feeding response of favias and acans.
