Contestants: Please remember that this contest has specific instructions. Your first picture will be matched with your last picture.

Voters: everyone can vote for the winner even if you were not involved in the contest. Please remember to vote on 3 things.

1. Growth - How large the piece grew compared to the size in which it was received. Please remember that the larger the size the faster it should grow. Note how much the sps encrusted.

2. Color - Although some of us take better photos than others, you can get a general view at the colors this coral should be. Generally this piece seems to be A very appealing red with a hint of Purple and a greenish base.

3. Poylp Extension - PE is a great way to tell if a coral is healthy. good PE can show that it is not stressed out.

m3ace9, bustayanky, racinjason and bigpaul have the best pieces. You can tell a lot by the way they grow.

my guess-timates:

Racinjason's - looks like it has low flow in its location so it grew pretty thick.

bustayanky - possible lower light & lower flow so it encrusted greatly,

big paul - high flow and high light.

m3ace9 - high flow, medium light, might have been reaching for light?

Very well said. I put my piece in medium light and it really started to bring out the true colors of the acro. High light gave me great growth in the beginning but I wasn't satisfied with its look.

I have mine placed in the upper part of the tank with medium/high flow I have thought about moving it but I figured I should leave well enough alone. I am really surprised it has made it this long, every sps I have purchased after this one has gone up in smoke on me.
It has been really cool watching the progress and seeing the difference in the coral based off other tanks.
