I have dealt with Dave (letsgotothezoo) before many times and I always had a good experience.

Dave is a good guy.

The crack looks like happen during trasporting....the crack is long/big and you can see it when you pick up the tank at Dave's house (No way you can not see it). Base on my experience when I buy something I must to inspect to ensure everything is OK before I take home especially with glass or acrylic. Sellers won't response when it's out their house/place. Btw, if you need a brand new tank I will hook you up....

I personally deal with Dave many times in the past; Dave is a very good guy. I think this is an accident and hope you two can work out a solution.

How long was that tank sitting in the back or your truck or outside; it could be the heat.

I have dealt with Dave before and had no problems at all. Seems to be a very upstanding person.
Hopefully, you guys can get things settled amicably.

Same here. Bought 3 tangs from Dave, held it for me for a week even though he had buyers for it.

I dont think Dave will purposely sell you a cracked tank. I agree its dark there at night. If I was the seller or buyer I would of used a flashlight to make sure everything was ok. Hope you guys can work something out.

thanks reefplanet..how much for the same dims of a glass tank?
i tried to work things out but im not going to deal with death threats and "bullet in my head" convos...ive boughten quite a few tanks and i doubt it was heat or anything on my end. it wasnt very hot and it was only in the truck over night. i went out this morning to clean it up. i just dnt understand how the seller claims he inspected the tank but was trying to tell me how to plumb the tank and didnt even know there was a return hole, the size of the holes he told me were off by 1/2" so i had to return all my hoses and buy the correct size, it just doesnt add up....
