My 210 is cycling right now so I have been mess ing around with flow. Right now I have 2 wp40 on opposite sides of the tank and they are pretty impressive. They easily create more flow then my buddies setup which is two mp40s in a 180. They are almost too strong they rearranged my sand quite a bit. The crazy thing is that they have no way to slow them down. So I spent a couple hours figuring out how they work and I came up with a way to adjust the speed of them.

The pump runs exactly like a tunze pump does it has a 24 volt line that powers the pump direct and more or less a sensor circuit that runs off 0/
- 5 volts tunze runs off of 0-10v. All I did was add a potentiometer in line with the sensor line and now I am able to adjust the speed in all the setting. I also extended the chord off the controller that way all the controllers can be one one side of my stand.

I wanted to be able to tune them down that way I can add a wp60 when it gets here.

This is the second one I did I made the pot super stealth on the side.

I thought I had the newest controller. Mine has a s1 s2 s3 but when I hooked it up to the meter it only changes if it's set to w1. Is there an even newer one? I got these in the last group buy

You have the new controller. The company states that s1 is 100%, s2 is 75%, and s3 is 50%. But hey what do expect from cheap china crap.

They do, but they only have preset speeds of 50%, 75% and 100% for just the W1 mode.
All other wave modes still ramp up to full throttle.

I am also going to do a similar mod (using an inline 12-24v dimmer knob) so I can use the "Else" mode without dumping all the sand on the opposite side of my tank.
