ok so im about positive i have zoa pox from some recent purchases. I was reading Furan 2 was recommended. Anyone have any recommendations or have used this product before?

What about global treatment vs spot treatment?
I can get most my colonies out but not all. I was thinking to spot treat the ones i can and maybe also do a global to target any others i don't see and in the water column. I have sps, lps and softies in the tank as well.

Heres what ive read: http://www.zoaid.com/articles004.php

You would need a lot of Furan 2 to treat the entire tank, I use 4 packs per 1 cup of tank water and let them soak for 20 minutes. I then dip them in Iodine to help them heal. They will look like crap for a week or so.

So is zoa pox contagious? Ive begun dipping all the colonies i can pull out but some are on base rock. Im gonna be doing a lot of water changes to clear out the water column and bring in fresh SW also.
