I am setting up a new tank and stand, 75 gallon, and thought it might be a good idea to put furniture sliders under the stand in each corner to allow for the possibility of moving the tank/stand a little bit if I ever need to get to the back to adjust a pump or light holder etc. Tank will be on travertine flooring. Has anyone ever tried this?

I have 8 furniture sliders on my 60 gallon I haven't filled yet. I plan on leaving them. If you are going to try it get the big solid black and gray ones, not the cheap ones with the foam on the backside. I have wood floors and I want to make sure any accidentally spilled water drys under the stand. I think they are $19 at Home Depot for 4.

Good luck!
