Salifert for me. All you'll need is Alkalinity, Calcium and Magnesium. If you don't monitor pH with a probe then maybe a pH test kit also.

I get my test kits from Bulk Reef Supply, very fresh kits with long expiration dates.

I have API for Alk test, nitrate, and phosphate. Don't want to spend to much money to test these things.

Salifert for Ca/ Mg. that is my two cents..

Just picked up an ELOS Ph test kit. really easy to compare color chart. 1st ph test kit where I dont hhave to say well between this # and that #.

I like Elos for Po4, CA, Mag, Nitrate, and now Ph... before was a mix of salifert and API

i've been using a mix of API and salifert... but for calcium and magnesium i have a tropic marine test... it's Uber accurate... i know if my calcium is at 450 or 452...

I bought the red sea all in one test kit and it was very inaccurate

I have always used Salifert and I would recommend it
