Actually the males color up @ 3-3.5" but in really deep waters.
The smallest ever caught according to my fish expert friend is 3" which is very close to the one that someone here have. This guys are caught 100- 200 ft down. According to the divers that collects them.

I put most of the fish yesterday because fish are constantly fighting so far no aggression in the main tank. I bought a 150 gallons leemar that I will pick up Sunday if the fish gets ick again back to qt tank but this time is bigger space for them and i have to go fallow again for 2 months.
I may need to trim down more from my fish list again.

I got rid of my 2 Achilles and the smallest female cross hatch because my qt is not big enough
I am using 4 qt tanks still until the 150 comes so far

40 gallon breeder and 20 gallon
And the fish are still claustrophobic.
