Guys. I think you're missing the point. I DO NOT want to delete my PMs. I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO. I pay for subscription/access to several forums. ALL of them are set up to automatically detect if your account is paid or not.... it's an industry standard and to be expected. This is 2015. There should not be manual account updates. There shouldn't be one hard-to-get-a-hold-of person doing it all.

If the site has a KNOWN issue of doing this... it needs to be address. It SHOULD NOT be a "if you don't like it, go somewhere else" kind of attitude.

The squeaky wheel gets grease.

There is a PROBLEM/BUG that needs to get fixed. That's why I posted to the "Forum Bugs and Suggestions" section of the site. It's something that NEEDS to get addressed by the forum, NOT the individuals experiencing the "problem."

Goodness.

You guys are all either sucking mikes toe cause he's the boss or you don't know what customer service is. I understand trying to give the man the benefit of the doubt and saying if you don't like it leave. From a business stand point. You're going to eventually fail continuing the way it is going. We "support" to help keep the site running. By running we don't expect just it working. We expect all things to work. Not only the site, but the extra storage, the extra sales post, and of course no one wants get charged twice. And not get any type of response in a decent/timely manner. I gaurantee that all of you expect way more out of a McDonalds then what you guys are trying to blow off here. Truthfully right after the slow response about the optometry. I was going to email him to cancel my future auto support .

This is true, if it's not working this is in the right forum. Just feels like a rant in lieu of a "hey this is broken, someone should take a look, possible site improvement opportunity". It's all about your approach mang.

It's a hobby forum and not a McDonald's. There is a big difference between a few enthusiasts running a Web site and a multimillion dollar franchise that makes money on how fast they can get customers out the door. I'm sure he'll give you a frag or something for your troubles.

Um has anyone forget.

Even if u did upgrade your subscription u will still need to clear your pm's now and then. Yes u do get added space but come on it's not unlimited. Where the big deal about cleaning the trash. U pack ratting or something.

The PMs I keep for reference help me remember what kind of relationships I've built with members. Some good, some bad. I do delete unnecessary PMs.

HOWEVER, AGAIN, this has NOTHING to do with what PMs I have. This has EVERYTHING to do with the site having a PROBLEM with updating user subscription status. The side effect and how it has affected ME personally, is not being able to PM. It just so happens that one of the biggest reasons anybody here pays the annual fee is for the PM space.

This is an ONGOING ISSUE that needs attention. More than just fixing it case by case. The problem needs to be addressed, not just the symptom every time it comes up.

The big deal is that it has been a week. The big deal is that I have PMs I need to send regarding RAP that is coming up very soon. The big deal is it SHOULDN'T be this way.

The amount of $$ is irrelevant. I KNOW it will be resolved. But what I would like to see is the problem as a whole get addressed, not just my individual situation. I don't want to feel like I have to deal with this every year or that every member has to go through the hassles.

I'm very surprised at how sideways this thread got.

My OP was very clear. I wanted the attention of the individual who can fix the problem... not get suggestions from 293478230 other people.

I was also double billed recently, if my supporter status/features would of renewed automatically... I can't say for sure I would of caught the double charge. Anyways, I hope the issue gets resolved promptly.
