Little update -

Got my Tunze Nano ATO setup and running, awesome setup, would highly recommend it. Skimmer running, pulled out the **** media baskets and replaced with IM socks on both sides, also picked up purigen and chemipure blue for the back chamber.

Picked up a sweet pair of clowns from Age of Aquariums, shoutout to Dan for carrying awesome fish for awesome prices!

Getting the denitrification bubbles already on Day 5, looks like it should be over soon, I used Dr Tims on Day 1, so it appears to be working.
I told you the Tunze was awesome!

And don't worry. I waited like four hours before putting my clowns in the tank. =X They took it like champs though and the bacteria did its job.

Glad I could help! It's just been sitting there. :) You get all that stuff at SPS?http://imgur.com/bUOltMr

Addit: You'll love the Hanna phos checker, I just picked up more reagents for mine. Only thing is the checker will time out and turn off if you take too long shaking the vial, and half the time I forget to hold the button down, not just press it once. :p

Yeah I timed out once. Then just used both vials, one for the first step and one for the second.

I'll probably get the inTank baskets instead of the socks that I have now.

Added some more goodies!

And a Reeflink that will be here tonight hopefully!
I'll be honest...I do a 2g water change a week and don't test and everything looks fine. I bet if you did a similar regimen, your parameters would be stable too. But then again, you wanna do SPS, so you may benefit from testing. I'm wanting to try an easy SPS to put at the top since it's a high flow area for me.

As far as the chiller, the Radion won't heat the water much, if any at all. Do you not have AC where you live? My tank did fine during summer with the AC on.

And the inTank basket is great, especially the new one. I have the older one that I had for my old 16g Nuvo, but it works well anyway. If you were closer, I'd give you my spare. But you can't go wrong with that purchase!

This thread reminds me of my comback into the hobby..thats a great little tank and have mine about 80% sps now..only thing its lacking is a skimmer design that would pull under heavy bioloads, have the cadlights 50elite and clean it every 3 days..anywho your build looks awesome! Do away with one sock and run a basket in the other, did that to mine and never looked back since. The IM socks are pretty expensive but if you take their design and make an acrylic one out of it you can use home made filter socks!
Ill take some pics of mine so you can get an idea of what i mean.

Yeah im definitely going to be dosing for SPS, im treating this tank like a 100g in terms of stability. only thin I probably wont get is an apex controller, but I do still need a doser.

Thanks for the heads up bud, im still up in the air about the eshopps, it doesnt seem to pull out anything serious yet, mostly wet skim which is good for phosphates. Once we move im going to pick up a nice granite cabinet top unit and put a sump in there, maybe change the display tank to a nice rimless with overall same dimensions but drilled.

Nice did you get the 2nd version? I have the first and it works great. Really easy to use and thus far has been really reliable.
Nah, first like yours, decided I didn't really need to spend the extra money for the updated version, there isn't much that changed.
