I got it locally at Jims Exotic Reef, apparently they are pretty popular and on backorder. $199 for it.

Dang dude! $600 light on a $200 tank?? Then people call ME crazy! =P
LOL yeah man, was the best option... and now I have upgrades accounted for! :dance3:

199 isn't bad. I still have a radion laying around for a small nano. I like your tank and I'm still looking around for something like what you have. AIO setups are convenient and I learned that they can be really stable

They really can be. I have a 10g Nuvo and I get no algae from 2 gallon weekly water changes. I was pretty surprised I was able to maintain it pretty pain free. I just have a medium sized lightning maroon, a small gold stripe, and a Randall's goby. Stays relatively stable.

I do a 50% wc once a month. Been with me for a couple of years. All (soft) corals are doing well. I have a pompom crab and 2 clowns in it.

Agreed! As long as you don't over stock them they are relatively easy to maintain.

Changing from the Tunze 9001 to a cadlights PLS-50 Elite, 9001 won't fit. PLS will fit in a side chamber if you modify it, so thats what I'll be doing, now I just gotta find a deal on one!

i was reading the 9001 will fit if you split the returns to two smaller pumps
It wont, with the larger black magnet on the side of the body you cant get the skimmer down far enough because the shape of the skimmer tapers from bottom to top, I didnt try using the smaller magnet and putting the black one on the outside but its more trouble than its worth. Also, if you are running any kind of light fixture arm it will be directly in the way of that, which is where your skimmer cup needs to come out at. I have the Radion XR30 and the RMS mount, with that there its impossible to put it in and out.

Picked up the eshopps nano skimmer just now and it fits perfect! I heard good things about it so hopefully it works just as good as the cadlights one, nobody has the cadlights right now and they arent expected to get any till mid december.

Its wet! Changed up the scape a little, had a little less room than I thought. Overall Im pretty happy with it, no dead spots for detritus to settle. Still need to pick up a powerhead to help with that, probably go with a RW4 for now.

Just suck it up and find a used MP10. You won't regret it and it's so much easier to clean.

I hear ya. I have an old MP10 from an old build and at the power level you're gonna run your MP10, you probably won't hear it much. I just hate cords sticking out of the tank; especially that really rigid mesh screen.

Little update -

Got my Tunze Nano ATO setup and running, awesome setup, would highly recommend it. Skimmer running, pulled out the **** media baskets and replaced with IM socks on both sides, also picked up purigen and chemipure blue for the back chamber.

Picked up a sweet pair of clowns from Age of Aquariums, shoutout to Dan for carrying awesome fish for awesome prices!

Getting the denitrification bubbles already on Day 5, looks like it should be over soon, I used Dr Tims on Day 1, so it appears to be working.
