I did not realize that people have a schedule for powerheads. What are you trying to simulate? Are waves generally calmer in the ocean during night time?

It is a mistake that I don't do much water changes. After I do the water change there is some slight improvement in the corals. I think I will do more water changes now.

I have heard that some people don't even use the heater during this hot summer season. However, I have been noticing that it is getting a little cooler now. For those who have turned off the heater during the summer months, have your turned it back on?

How long do you let your salt mix stand before you put it in the tank for water changes? Anyone here just mix it and let it stand for about 1 hour and put it in the tank?

If you see one medium size (2 inches) dead but it is located under a rock that is impossible to get out unless you take out a lot of rocks on top, would you just leave the fish there and let it decompose or do you try to get it out even if you have to take out some of the rocks?
