Cleaning your tank

Do you guys where protective garment when cleaning your tank?

I usually just use my bare arm/hand without those plastic protective sleeve that I see in the LFS.

I was wondering if this would introduce bad bacteria to the tank and cause damage to sps or other corals.

It is a fact that your bare skin contains bacteria and a very common one would be Staphylococcus epidermidis.

I own the big gloves but sometimes I just forget to wear them. It is as much for your protection as the animals

and the gloves laying around in your fish equipment would be any better?

i have never used any gloves. bare hands/arms only, but if i have put any lotion on that day, i will wash it off with cheapo no perfume soap. other than that, i just stick them in.
