So I've made a lot of these over the years and always used magnets... been thinking I could try 2" large suction cups... maybe 2 to 3 on the larger stations...
the one pictured might be considered a large.. has 10 spots for frags. The pic is raw clay, not fired or colored yet. If the suction...
Just to throw it out there.... Coralline algae grows fast on black surfaces.. The darker the pigment the faster and thicker it grows... I haven't made any if these that dark but it's worth the try...

The kiln is in the background of the original post. This size wouldn't be a large, more of a medium size and the # of magnets will hold this one. I've made quite a few of these and had them in the old system and at the shop without incident...

I'll have to look up the magnets I bought.. I want to say they were $6 each and there are 4 total for this one... They are rubber coated and will jack up your finger if they snap on you. There are two on the back and then the two on the opposite side of tank. They worked great on anything under...

Speed is fine. Tap the top of the reactor to drop the pellets. I never soaked mine and never once had a problem....I spun mine much faster without issue...good luck
