Just wondering if there's any interest in these... I use to sell them occasionally and heard that there's a company now that's selling these for a lot of money..well a lot more than I was... Here's one I had left over.. Not sure if I still remember how to post pics...lets see.

I'll have to look up the magnets I bought.. I want to say they were $6 each and there are 4 total for this one... They are rubber coated and will jack up your finger if they snap on you. There are two on the back and then the two on the opposite side of tank. They worked great on anything under 1/2" from what I remember...
I saw a crappy one on Amazon for $80 and laughed..
I'm not sure I'll build them at this point unless there's enough interest to make it worth the time... That's why this thread...
Let me look up magnets again and calculate the cost in time and material.
I want to say I was asking $70 for one this size..

Did you put this through a kiln?
I have access to a kiln and can fire anything up and make it chemically inert. Won't leech at that point.

The kiln is in the background of the original post. This size wouldn't be a large, more of a medium size and the # of magnets will hold this one. I've made quite a few of these and had them in the old system and at the shop without incident...

Yeah those are pretty cool homie. Especially if you could work in some flecks of purple to imitate coraline. They could also be cool for legit aquascaping, like if you wanted something tight to the corner, or a ridge along the back wall.. I dig it, I'm sure there would be buyers.

Just to throw it out there.... Coralline algae grows fast on black surfaces.. The darker the pigment the faster and thicker it grows... I haven't made any if these that dark but it's worth the try...

If you zoom in, it's color resembles coralline algae.. Lots of purple.
