    Dual 40g frag tank setup

Ha was wondering the same thing. Thought it was some fancy illusion where 48" morphed into 72". They also don't look like squares so that was throwing me off. Definitely look like 36x24x15 which would make them 56 gallons each if my calculations are correct.

    Jesuses Shallow Rimless Reef

Stunning tank. I love how there is so much open space. Too often I see tanks with collectoritis with regards to rock work and it doesn't let the layout breathe.

Marine Aquarium Do's and Don'ts for Beginners

A great summary to help me get started. I have got a lot of experience with freshwater, but I'm very intimidated by saltwater tanks. Got one for the fiancee and before even thinking about setting anything up I've done probably over 30 hours of research and still am not confident yet. This simple...

What is the best way to "CYCLE" a Reef Tank?

When talking about live rock does that include the artificial rock that a lot of stores are using nowadays? I prefer not to damage reefs if possible so if I can just use artificial rock that has been in a previous setup and use that to cycle then that would be great.

Let see which design clownfish do you have in your tank!

****, I didn't even know some of these varieties existed. Are they raised a certain way to get them to have these patterns or do they do some artificial type painting to cause the patterns?

    My clownfish breeding journey

I'm always impressed when someone can get aquatic animals (besides guppies and platies) to breed. Wonderful job with the Clowns. I can't wait to see them all grown up. Fish farm time!

My first saltwater will be a seahorse tank.

Great responses guys. There is no rush to make this happen and we have researched the possible corals that they could work with, but as you mention they might not make it in the tank. Even after the tank is setup we wouldn't be putting any seahorses in for at least two months to make sure we...

    Igarc009's CADlights 45 Shallow Build

Looks great. Any reason why you weren't able to mount the light rail behind the tank?

    My biggest fear...

Haha hilarious. Knowing my girl she would be able to sell them for 10x their worth. Sigh.

My first saltwater will be a seahorse tank.

Hello everyone. My fiancee is dying to get a seahorse tank so I'm obliged to make it happen. For some background I've been a freshwater man for the past two years and all of my tanks are high tech so to speak (CO2, high PAR, fertilizers, etc.) so I understand the basics of maintaining a tank...

    Jesuses Shallow Rimless Reef

Wow beautifully scaped. I'm noticing that I tend to favor the reef builds that offer a bit of space between the rocks instead of a full side-to-side scape. Thanks for the inspiration.

    Advance acrylics??

I'm glad to hear this things about them as my financee is thinking about getting a custom tank from them.
