I’m with you on this one but have since traded TM Pro’s clean mix/container for the higher alk of RSCP. Both served my use cases quite well.

Red Sea Coral Pro for me, mixed tank. Used TM pro for a couple of years after a reboot then switched to Red Sea pro as the tank matured.

Following along and curious what your ICP test reveals. The same thing happened to my rocks and frag plugs that are directly below the lights after I made a lighting change. Alk consumption went up and had to compensate for it. It took a few weeks to grow back the coralline on the said rocks.

Curious if the firmware is up to date on your X3. I ended up with the Launch and XP8 which has power monitoring and alerting. When I was setting them up initially, I would get an email from Hydros when either device goes offline (powered off or no wifi connection.)

Which controller do you have? Having inkbird as primary and hydros as secondary is the way to go. My heater has temp control, plugged in to the inkbird then to a Hydros output.
