I have used peppermint several times through the years with success. The trick is you have to add several, at least 3, at night. Then, don't feed your tank for a couple days. They will take care of the aptasia.

Add at least 3 peppermint shrimp at night. Don't feed your tank for a couple days. Peppermint shrimp will seek out the aptasia and destroy it all!
